Pot-inspired artist creates detailed portraits of marijuana icons using roach paper

So, there’s this artist by the name of Cliff Maynard, from Pittsburgh, who’s making portraits of cannabis loving celebrities, using marijuana joint papers. The portraits include famous pot icons such as Bob Marley, Snoop Dogg, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and the recently passed hemp activist, Jack Herer, to name a few. It’s not easy to create such incredible art, since it takes about 200 hours to complete just one, and it’s certainly not cheap (not to mention, legal). Purchasing one portrait will cost you about $2,000, but how fucking amazing are these photos? This pot head must have seriously loved his weed to pull something like this off. So many roaches burnt. I love it.
